Jen Beer
Jen Beer was formerly the Head of Education and Health, Regional and Remote at NBN Co.
Prior to nbn, Jen enjoyed a diverse career spanning veterinary medicine and surgery; community development and engagement focused on schools and sports clubs; international sport; co-founding and chairing a Non-profit Organisation; and roles in strategy, transformation and product delivery at a Tier 1 phone and internet provider.
Her role at nbn focused on leading the development and implementation of the regional and remote education and health strategies, which involved working with key industry stakeholders to define the critical role the nbn™ network plays in enabling the digitised future of both critical sectors. Of particular focus was how nbn can support Australians of any age, to participate in digital health and online learning regardless of where they live.
Jen is a proud Darlot woman and is proud of her family’s heritage from the Western Desert region of Western Australia. She has a Masters in Business Administration from Melbourne Business School, and is unashamedly passionate about all things sports and anything involving the western half of this great country.
